What do we need?
- 2 Rhythmic Gymnastics clubs
- If you do not have rhythmic gymnastics clubs, you can substitute with a wooden kitchen spoon or a flyswatter
- Timer
How do we do it?
- Right arm is full extended
- Club rotating horizonatally over top of arm
- Left arm is bent, elbow high with club crossing in front chest.
- While rotating the clubs, balance on left leg on high toe (relevé) with right leg extended straight in front, toe pointed.
- The body must remain motionless during the balance and the clubs must rotate during the entire time the balance is held.
- Hold for 5 seconds
- Scoring
- Leg height
- Front raised leg is ankle high = 2 points
- Front raised leg is knee high = 3 points
- Front raised leg is waist high = 5 points
- Pick the points that best describes your held position
- Club spin
- Rotating the clubs without them contacting the body = 5 points
- Leg height
